The birth of a new life is an unforgettable moment in a mother's life, but it is preceded by a very demanding period for her body.

As part of the campaign carried out by Almagea on the importance of nutrients for the proper growth and development of the child and the health of the mother, we spoke with the famous TV presenter Nevena Rendela, who is currently celebrating her 23rd week of pregnancy.

The thought that two living beings are growing in me, two little girls who will be their own persons in less than four months, little people that I will bring into the world, is incomparable to anything else. 

I tried to get pregnant for a long time and when it finally happened, the happiness that overcame me, but also the fear of whether I would be able to keep the pregnancy alternated on a daily basis. Now, when half of the journey is behind me, in the 22nd week, I am finally enjoying myself. And they seem to be telling me with their movements; everything is fine, we are here and we are fine.

The other day, during the show, while I was signing off the program and my guests sang the ending, they also belly danced. I felt like telling everyone live, including the viewers, that they also approve of our music choice, but I just laughed. My girls and I have been laughing a lot lately.

I'm still working even though they ask me every time, how long do you think? I've already gained 15 kilograms, so I guess to people my belly seems bigger than they would expect for someone on the threshold of the sixth month. And people also like to see pregnant women as immobile and incapable of normal activities. I work because I want to, and I feel good at the same time. Never more relaxed, never happier and never with fewer worries on your mind. They tell me that you can see it on the screen as well.

I practice exercise during pregnancy as much as my body allows, because I also enjoy it. As an avid runner, I had to stop training during pregnancy in the form of running according to the doctor's instructions, because it is a twin, high-risk pregnancy, but I did not give up daily movement, walking and occasional moderate exercise. Of course, under the strict supervision of my trainer Veronika and with a reduced intensity than before pregnancy, but I try to stay in shape. After all, who will physically endure when these two little beings are born, you should welcome them ready.
